The Sarawak Government has launched its inaugural report on the implementation of policies and programmes in Sarawak, the PCDS 2030: Highlights 2023. This comprehensive report documents the key achievements and progress made across key economic and enabler sectors in Sarawak. 

Key Highlights include: 

1. In the Manufacturing sector: Sarawak attracted RM21.5 billion approved investments from 2021 to 2023, creating over 11,000 new jobs.

2. Tourism: In 2023, Sarawak welcomed 3.9 million visitors, generating RM9.99 billion in tourism revenue.

3. Forestry: Sarawak planted 32.5 million trees from 2021 to 2023.

4. Basic Infrastructure: Sarawak developed a road network spanning 31,577 kilometers as of Dec 2023

5. Utilities & Digital Transormation: In 2023, Sarawak achieved 99.4% electrification rate, 84.3% water supply coverage and 78.8% Internet connectivity. 

6. Renewable Energy: Sarawak maintained a 60% capacity mix of Renewable Energy
