Quality of construction has gained prominence of late, as consumers and end users are more critical now of
what they are accepting. One of the causes of poor quality construction is related to the construction
material or product being used. Some wonder how poor quality or standard of materials and product could
sneak through the QA system in spite of ISO and SIRIM being specified.
This talk attempt to explore and explain what are the QA system in place in the country, particularly, with
respect to the supply chain for the construction industry.
