🇲🇾 Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

All foreign citizens travelling to Malaysia must complete the mandatory Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to arrival.

Step 1 • Before Arrival

Immigration Verification

Present your submitted MDAC registration confirmation and verify your passport at the immigration counter upon arrival.

Who is EXEMPTED from MDAC?
  • Citizens of Singapore
  • Diplomatic and official passport holders
  • Malaysia Permanent Residents (PR) and long-term pass holders
  • Brunei-Malaysia Frequent Traveler Facility holders
  • Thailand border pass holders
  • Indonesia cross-border travel document (PLB) holders

🛂 Visa Requirements by Country

📌 Important Notes & Exemptions:

China (★★) & India (★★★): Citizens of China and India are visa-exempt until 31 December 2026.

Asterisk (★): Countries marked with a star are allowed to enter Malaysia by air only.

ASEAN Nationals: Visa is not required for stays of less than 1 month (except Myanmar). Visas are required for stays exceeding 1 month (except Brunei & Singapore nationals).
